Experience
Peer Assistance and Leadership (2007-2009) Peer Mentor and Tutor. In this at school position I traveled to the other schools in the district and mentored and tutored students from age 8-13. SAT 1910 I LOVE kids! I want to be a tutor because I love kids and helping kids really brings me joy. I'd love to be able to influence the lives of others. I'm not just one of those people who say they love kids, but get easily annoyed by snotty noses or yelling and screaming. Hopefully there wont be any screaming in sessions, but I love the challenge of dealing with "difficult" students. I feel like my personality and strategies would help those needing extra attention. Honestly I'd love to teach in the future, despite being a film major. I'm still deciding wether I want to get my MFA so I can teach. Tutoring will hopefully help me decide whether I want to further a career in education.

Ayodele here. I'm 20 years old and I love to have fun and just be myself. I moved to Austin a year ago from Dallas and I love it! I love kayaking on town lake or editing my film projects. I can be shy when I'm around people I dont know, or when I feel intimidated. I love music, cooking, art, theater, and movies. I'm was also a trainer for my high school's football team and I loved it.
