Experience
Tutor at San Marcos Academy- 2013-2015. Tutored in all general middle and high school subjects. Tutoring is the best job I've ever had. I love connecting with the students and want to make learning a comfortable experience. It is such a rewarding experience for both myself and the student. I hope to make a positive impact in anyway I can. Tutoring has made a huge impact on me and caused me to want to go to pursue education as a career path- I hope to obtain my PhD in History and teach at the University level. As an undergraduate History student, I've received many academic honors. I've been on the Dean's List every semester, received the Outstanding Undergraduate in History Award (Spring 2015), Achievement in History Award (Spring 2014, Spring 2015), and the Award for Academic Excellence (Spring 2015), and I'm also a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the Golden Key International Honor Society, and the Texas Chapter of the Alpha Chi Honor Society.

Hobbies
I enjoy reading, especially non-fiction and historical fiction. I specifically love to study WWII, German, and Jewish history I started learning German at Texas State and will be continuing throughout Grad school. I would be more than willing help anyone studying beginning German. I studied abroad during the summer of 2014 in Vienna, Austria at the IKI Institute in order to improve my German. I also love video games- video games are what started my love for history. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do. In high school, I was lucky enough to travel to New Zealand and Australia on a People to People Student Ambassador Program, I spent a summer as an exchange student and orphanage volunteer in Accra, Ghana through AFS (I also hosted a student from Holland through AFS when I was younger), I also travelled to Germany (three times), Austria (three times), Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and of course, beautiful Montreal (twice). I believe everyone should have the opportunity to travel at least once in their life- it makes such a positive impact. I love sharing experiencing with others and I also like to connect to the students with whom I work over travel experiences, good books, and video games.
