I am currently studying at Texas State University, majoring in English and Communication Design. I have significant tutoring experience with school-age students in many subjects and capacities. My favorite age group is elementary students, as I have had positive experiences working as a student teacher and teaching poetry in elementary school. The subjects I can teach include any mathematics up to the high school level, English areas such as essays, reading, and grammar, any level of Spanish, and study skills. What makes me unique is my fluent Spanish, which I have used when teaching Spanish-speaking children. I also have experience tutoring students with learning disabilities.Spending time with kids is a great joy, just as learning is a great joy to me. I can think of no better life goal than helping young people learn and grow. I enjoy making work fun and laughing with the students. My priority is to be approachable to my students, to earn their trust, and to make them love learning as much as I do.Outside of teaching, I am passionate about dancing: swing, tango, salsa, and other styles as well. There is something amazing about moving to music. I also do some graphic design.
