Often helped collegues understand subject matter in our courses due to my clearer understanding of the content. I'd like to be a tutor to better my knowledge of material I haven't seen in a long time. I am a coauthor for an article published on March 2014 from the Lewis research group at Texas State University. I was selected as an REU student at Texas A&M University in the Biochemistry and Biophysics department. I isolated and characterized two novel bacteriophages against clinical strains of a pathogenic bacterium.
