Experience
Currently my time is spent pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Anthropology, supported by minors in Sociology and Mathematics at Texas State University. Since high school I've tutored friends and colleagues. My strengths lie in tutoring for test preparation for the ACT, PSAT, and SAT, as well as the crafting and editing of essays, papers, and speech writing. I also have expertise in basic algebra and for statistical analysis that is not based off of calculus. Other subjects I have experience with are algebra, anatomy, Spanish, public speaking, and science. I am also available for summer tutoring. My heartfelt desire is to assist students in developing a passion for the material they are learning, not just to help them overcome material they may be struggling with. When a student is motivated by curiosity, the desire to want to just get by to pass a class for the sake of passing can vanish. Outside of my studies I am employed at Texas State's Forensic Anthropology Center, working in the Osteological Research and Processing Lab. I also like to read, watch documentaries, and find new places to explore when I am not studying or working. My other interests are in Anthropology, Sociology, Epidemiology, and Forensic Osteology.
